Cost of living support

The rising cost of living is a real worry for hard-working and struggling households in Plymouth and across the country as a whole. This cost of living hub makes it as easy as possible to find help with rising bills and costs of living.

Here you will find signposts to support - from welfare benefits like universal credit to where to go to get help with gas and electricity bills. The hub also includes information on help with council tax, housing costs, how to access food banks, and how to contact voluntary organisations working across the city.

Don't forget to look at the help from the government page as that contains all of the cost of living support schemes that you could be eligible for.

Remember, if you are struggling, you are not alone. There is no shame in asking for help. Everyone needs a little bit of extra support at some point in their lives.

If you are an organisation or community group and can help support people living in Plymouth, please complete our online form, and we will add you to this directory.
