  • Free bus pass for concessionary travel: Many people qualify for a free bus pass, allowing for discounted or even free travel on local buses.

Walking aids, wheelchairs and mobility scooters

If you or someone you know has difficulty walking or getting around (mobility), a wheelchair, scooter or walking aid might help.

Blue Badge scheme for disabled parking

A Blue Badge allows people with severe mobility problems caused by visible and non-visible disabilities to access goods and services, by allowing them to park closer to where they need to go.

Free bus pass

You can apply for a bus pass for free travel when you reach the female State Pension age (whether you're a man or a woman), or if you have certain disabilities.
